Pontotoc County Animal Rescue and Shelter was founded in February 2011 and became a Special Project of the Create Foundation in April 2011. Founded by Katie Jackson, the organization has blossomed from an idea to a 8 member board of directors who are striving to open the best facility for homeless animals within Pontotoc County, Mississippi and the surrounding area. At this time, PCARS has helped saved 100's of lives through adoptions and many, many more by promoting spay and neuter within the area. All donations are beyond appreciated and tax deductible.
